Welcome! Everyone can make a difference!! Our campers ADORE student leaders!!!
Dear Students,
Thank you for taking interest in contributing to our leadership team. We appreciate your support and partnership in making a difference in each camper's lives.
Your contributions will surely be beneficial to them and our program. Though interns are not paid staff, the Student Internship Program is designed to provide you with numerous opportunities to learn more about yourself and gain experience by serving as a student intern / leader. I strongly believe EXPERIENCE fosters confidence. CONFIDENCE will undoubtedly lead to SUCCESS in life.
Student interns / leaders will be asked to do a wide array of things such as moving tables and chairs, distributing supplies, checking workbooks, assisting during class time, and other games & activities. In addition, they will also lead singing, and assist our camp counselors with various tasks. Needless to say, they will definitely learn and grow while having fun and "working."
As a director who has been working with youth and young adults for 20+ years, one of my passions is to mentor students to become great leaders. At EdgeCamp we offer opportunities for youth to practice their leadership skills, engage in teamwork and collaboration, develop problem solving skills, and gain self-confidence.
Now you might ask, "What are the criteria for these student leaders?" In order to continually meet our EdgeCamp standards, here are a few requirements...
